Ensilage is a method in which the grow of organic micro organisms that degrade organic matter is inhibited, herlping to keep forage. Materials and methods. This work evaluated the effect of four doses of kikuyo grass and forage peanut, suplemented with different concentrations of molasses, related to the nutricional quality of the ensilage produced. A random experimental design was applied with four replicas per treatment, and the variables evaluated were pH, humidity, dry matter, ethereal extract, ashes and raw proteine. Results. The results showed that the raw protein levels increased in a direct proportion with the quantity of forage peanut in the ensilage, while the other variables analyzed did not show any significant variation. Conclusion. Forage peanut has a great potential to be used as a protein supplement added to grass ensilage.esEnsilajeGanado - Alimentación y alimentosConservación de forrajePasto Kikuyo (Pennisetum Clandestinum)Maní forrajero (arachis pintoi)Corporación Universitaria LasallistaAlimentos para animalesAlimentos para animales - ProducciónSiloEvaluación de la calidad bromatológica del ensilaje de pasto kikuyo y maní forrajeroEvaluation of the bromatologic quality of kikuyo grass ensilage and forage peanut.Article
