Betancur Mesa, Diego Armando2017-04-072017-04-072015http://hdl.handle.net/10567/1799The development of this work was done in the ponderosa ranch in the municipality of San Pedro de Urabá; dedicated to livestock raising Brahman. Initially a diagnosis of all activities and processes that are normally made in the production system was made; these activities were compared with the checklist that created the ICA to grant certification BPG. The checklist evaluates 24 key criteria, 24 major criteria and 5 minor criteria. Later knowing the weaknesses that appeared in the exploitation, we proceeded to design and implement appropriate strategies to comply with the deficiencies found in the initial diagnosis. The strategies implemented in the property, allowed to gather information, design manuals and protocols operating in different areas of the business, plus the traceability process began and the future management may access valuable information, which will improve the efficiency of productive activity. The farm is ready to receive the visit of the ICA auditor; who finally determine whether the property meets all requirements to be certified in BPG. The implementation of the BPG, gender synergy across the organization, this contributed to improving the quality of life for employees, improved the handling of animals, acquired greater awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and gave tools management to have greater control of livestock.esAcceso abiertoCorporación Universitaria LasallistaEspecialización en Gerencia AgropecuariaBuenas prácticas ganaderasHacienda La PonderosaMunicipio de San Pedro de UrabáImplementación de las buenas prácticas ganaderas en la Hacienda La Ponderosa, ubicada en el municipio de San Pedro de Urabá.
