It is well described how traumatic injuries usually lead to hypovolemia due to the acute loss of blood, as well as damage to tissues both soft and bony. Corporal injuries affect without doubt the vital organs of the patient, putting life at risk. It is known how the body uses a series of mechanisms of compensation to support or to overcome the damages suffered; Because of this a clinical evaluation of a polytrauma patient should be performed in a systematic and exhaustive way to be able to make any decision in the treatment. In the following manuscript we will describe the clinical case of a feline patient of 2 months of age who suffered a brain injury trauma; management of the picture, its possible complications related to the short age updates in the treatment.esAcceso abiertoCorporación Universitaria LasallistaMedicina VeterinariaClínica Veterinaria LasallistaGatosGatos - EnfermedadesManejo clínico de un paciente felino de 2 meses de edad que sufrió un trauma craneoencefálico; posibles complicaciones relacionadas con la corta edad y actualizaciones en el tratamientoThesis
