This article identifies, through a descriptive research, the level of quality and innovation in health services and their contributions to the organizational development and the attainment of their goals. Objective: To identify the level of quality and innovation in health services. Materials and method. This research was carried out applying an instrument of seven questions to ten companies belonging to the health sector. Results. The results showed that 90% of health entities invests their income mainly in changes and adaptation of infrastructure, leaving strategic processes relegated to the sustainability of the service such as quality, innovation, and technology, which prevents the continuous improvement of the service borrowed and processes. Conclusion. Based on the results obtained in the research, it is concluded that, for health care institutions (IPS), the implementation of a quality system is not a priority.
