Environmental culture is the way human beings interact with environment and the first step for understanding it is studying values. These values determine beliefs and attitudes and, finally, they are all elements that give sense to environmental behavior. Environmental behavior, therefore, must be approached according to the characteristics of the community, so it is important to make studies to determine these variables aiming to make advances in the consolidation of a favorable environmental culture.Corporación Universitaria LasallistaÁrea Metropolitana del Valle de AburráEcologíaMedio ambienteCulturaCultura ambientalCultura ambiental: un estudio desde las dimensiones de valor, creencias, actitudes y comportamientos ambientalesEnvironmental culture: a study from values, beliefs, attitudes and environmental behaviorsCultura ambiental: um estudo desde as dimensões de valor, crenças, atitudes e comportamentos ambientaisArticle
