With this work, the lack of greater depth and investigative amplitude, leading Colombians to use music therapy to treat a disease that can be considered one of the main causes of deterioration and decreased quality of life is evident, as well as death among Colombians suffer. It is primarily a tour of the international theoretical knowledge to know the importance that has been given to the issue in other countries and that earnings or profits has brought, so the information with existing in Colombia and thus realize aspects of which is vitiated as to this knowledge. Thus the important relevance has been given music therapy to treat dementia internationally Alzheimer noticeable, noticeable because the benefits and makes clear that it is a treatment of palliative that while not intended to cure Alzheimer's disease if the great degree of recovery is evident in patients treated with music therapy.
