Objective. To recover the interest of usually absent students, given their formation, and have them reflect on their consumption of media contents by the use of IT. Materials and method. The research-action methodology has been applied, by the use of a complex task designed for reading digital press using as tools a wiki and a blog, in order to publish contents elaborated by students themselves. Results. The results obtained demonstrate that the development of contents addressed towards an education to consume media, with a digital basis, captures the interest of the students and helps them to develop their critical attitude. Conclusions.Practices of this sort appear as an action that can be appropriate for this complex and hard educative scenarioesAcceso abiertoCorporación Universitaria LasallistaEducación básica secundariaEducación - Aspectos psicológicosMotivación para el aprendizajeTecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC)Educación para los medios en un entorno digital.
