It is the assertion that the depreciation of human life and that of any life form in general, is an issue that is not solved through the argumentation provided by formal ethical systems, but through the process of discovering the origin of such depreciation in the donations of sense men give to reality. This is due to the fact that any disrespect for life is explained by a position that previously has depreciated, thus moving towards the act in which killing is prioritized over existence. That is possible if Edmund Husserl´s genetic analyses of experience are followed.esCorporación Universitaria LasallistaEdmund HusserlUniversidad Pontificia BolivarianaInstitución Universitaria Colegio Mayor de AntioquiaFenomenologíaBioéticaLa bioética y los problemas de la constitución del sentido de lo humanoBioethics and the problems of the constitution of the human senseA bioética e os problemas da constituição do sentido do humanoArticle
