Objective: describe the contribution of the PERA test (personality-learning) on the enhancement of learning from an autonomous and effective approach. Materials and methods: the psycho-pedagogical support in the basic sciences classroom from the Colombian Polytechnic Jaime Isaza Cadavid, developed in the class period of the 2018-1, 2018-2 and 2019-1 semesters. Results: from the data obtained, an interesting contribution was made to the pedagogical and teaching process of basic sciences in regular students, presenting an average of 85% in the ability to discriminate between the different styles for each of the 483 students who participated. Conclusions: from the test it was possible to conclude that it is possible to identify the types of learning by teachers and students, which has enormous potential when it comes to imparting hard science knowledgeesAcceso abiertoCorporación Universitaria LasallistaPsicopedagogíaEducación - Aspectos psicológicosProceso cognitivoNeurociencia cognitivaPedagogía - EstrategiasPotenciamiento desde el aprendizaje para un enfoque autónomo empleando test PERAEmpowerment from learning for an autonomous approach using PERA testPotenciação desde o aprendizagem para um enfoque autônomo usando o teste PERAinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAcces
