The objectives of the participation in the activities of the farm were oriented to the characterization of the stages of cultivation such as soil preparation, planting, fertilization, irrigation, control of diseases and pests, and finally harvest. Through this characterization, it was possible to develop a matrix of production costs, which enabled tracking along the production process to detect the presence of flaws in all fields.. Another of the achievements was the determination of the yield per hectare, in turn related to the costs of production, considering the growing interest lies in maximizing the production of sucrose. With the results achieved is to contribute to the company criteria for amplification of benefit crop and decreased production costs, also it represents a contribution to the beet sector, which has experienced in recent years an important process of transformation.
