Item Calidad de Vida Laboral en Producciones de Cítricos del Suroeste Antioqueño, Colombia(Corporación Universitaria Lasallista, 2017) Zea Quintero, Manuela; Silva, Ana Cristina; Jaramillo, Miguel; Velásquez Arboleda, Óscar HernánThe quality of life is conceptualized as an eminently human foundation that relates to the degree of satisfaction that the person has with his physical situation, his emotional state, his family life, love and social life as well as the meaning that is attributed to his life (Testa, 1996 & Guyatt, 1993). Increased productivity and social stability depend not only on the different means of production available, but also on working and living conditions, as well as the level of health and well-being of workers and their families. The analysis of quality of life at work allows defining strategies and correctives to improve the factors that directly affect the person and indirectly their productive capacity in the company. This study was an exploratory and descriptive study. The instrument was applied to 29 employees of three citrus farms in the southwest, located precisely in the municipalities of Fredonia and Valparaiso belonging to the Association CITRICAUCA, resulting in a low quality of life in the dimensions of Integration to the Post Of Work, Personal Development, Free Time and, average level of quality of life in the dimensions Institutional Support for the Work, Safety in the Work, satisfaction by the Work and well-being achieved through the work.
