This chapter shows the current outlook of citrus’ pro-duction in Colombia, making a brief analysis of the
sector´s most recent trends in international and natio -nal markets. The most important problems that limit
the development and competitiveness of the citrus´
production chain are described, and so are the compe-titiveness agreements and the Plan de Acción Nacional
de la Cadena de Cítricos de Colombia (Colombian
National Citrus Chain’s Action Plan).
