The hipoadrenocorticismo is a pathology that is due to the deficiency of secretion of glucocorticoid and Mineralocorticoid from the adrenal cortex. the destruction of more than 95% of both cortices results in deficiency of all the hormones of the adrenal cortex and is called hipoadrenocortisismo primary (Addison's disease). Adisson disease is relatively common in canine, but its incidence is much lower than the adrenal hipercorticalismo (Cushing's disease). The hipoadrenocorticismo is uncommon in cats. Clinical signs, the Diagnostics and treatment are similar both cats and dogs.es_ES
