Resumen
In our higher education, humanism plays a
secondary role as a part of the academic programs.
This situation generates a big concern among
universities, because this fact is framed in a society
which is in a crisis and requests for a humanization
of its situation. This criterion contains a hope of solution
for the complex current situation. These conditions
invite us to look for a potentialization of the
sense and the effective value of he humanism in an
academic framework and to legitimate the need to
do this for the construction of a more equitative and
participative society, with a clear idea of the human
sense in mankind.
