Abstract
Sisal hardest natural fiber is most commonly used and recognized in Colombia, normally operates to remove the "twine", therefore potentiated sisal packing industry in the country. This is how the Society of Packaging SA, Medellin, gives you the opportunity to a practitioner of Directors Agricultural Business to contribute through work done in the field, to the activities of the company, including training, technical assistance and motivation to farmers, have greater scope and social impact as well as related fique supply raw material for the company, seeking to increase productivity and efficiency thereof.
To make possible such purposes, the investment budgets of the company were made in establishing cultures of sisal in partnership with farmers, in association properties and own the company. He also managed to raise and evaluate information from input costs, equipment and related services sisal cultivation.
He finally managed to support the activities of induction and training provided by the company in the paths of the different municipalities of Antioquia to encourage the planting of sisal, as were the cases of Garden and Jericho. The results of the investigation allowed to consider it essential to create or strengthen a company that are in place to achieve integrate farmers so that they can efficiently exploit the resources available to the guild.
