Abstract
The use of chemical products in the agricultural
activity, as the fertilizers, generates a negative
environmental impact when the ions dissolved in
those fertilizers pass directly to the underground
waters through the edaphic lixiviations of the soil.
The addition of zeolite, a natural clay, creates a
molecular layer able to retain ions in the soil, making
the soil-plants system more efficient in terms
of hiogher production per area unit and less contamination
of the water from the aquifers.
