Resumen
The communication and journalism schools in Colombia
must go on in their national reflection
concerning the epistemological status of the
profession, checking their pedagogical practices,
he fields and the formation areas basically privileged
by the Colombian academies and the formation on
academic competences, among other topics. This
work implies the organization of interdisciplinary and
inters regionalized research groups, of joint
research lines, publications, academic events and,
specially, a national development plan of continued
formation for the faculty from the academic programs
on communication and journalism, as protagonists,
boosters and multipliers of this national debate.
