Item Estudio cuantitativo sobre las concepciones de ciencia, metodología y enseñanza para profesores en formación(Corporación Universitaria Lasallista, 2017) Gallego Quiceno, Dany Esteban; Bustamante Penagos, Laura; Gallego Ramírez, Lina María; Salcedo Diaz, Laura; Gava, Maristela; Alfaro Melendez, ElizabethIntroduction. In the pedagogical practice, different difficulties around the teaching-learning processes of different sciences and their applications components have been evidenced. In order to overcome such difficulties, it is necessary to understand meanings and explanatory models, which teachers under formation carry out on science transversal concepts, its construction, methodology, and teaching. Objective. To inquire into ideas teachers under formation have on sciences, their methodology, and teaching; Materials and methods. A quantitative research within a transversal or trans-sectional not experimental perspective with two types of different samples was carried out; Likert scale proposed by Porlán was applied. Results. From a descriptive and statistical analysis, it was concluded that teachers under formation, no matter their education level, consider -in relation to Science processes - that: observation is the first step of scientific method; research activity is around a fact or phenomenon, which occurs in a reality external to a subject, that theories are created but not a product of social construction, that scientific explanations may be accepted as true only if they may be verified, that theories are the result of experimentation. Conclusion. Within the teachers’ formation process, it is concluded that constructivist positions related with teaching processes, are the most accepted positions among teachers. In general terms, there are coincidences referred to the importance of considering that students’ ideas are important for the construction of school knowledge. Scientific teaching methodology has been used as a method for improving students’ learning; positions close to meaningful learning and to the application of knowledge to everyday environments are evidenced. Learning is mostly conceived as a construction of subjects participating in education process in which meaningful learning with applications in every day environments participate.Item Impacto medioambiental de la integración de la computación en la nube y la Internet de las cosas(Corporación Universitaria Lasallista, Editorial Lasallista., 2016) González García, Arturo; García García, Yadira; Gallego Quiceno, Dany Esteban; Sastoque Zapata, Jairo Andrés; Ramírez Juidia, EmilioCloud computing is one of the state of the art technologies nowadays, due to the variety of uses we give to it such as information storage and video streaming, among others. Objective. Show the advances of cloud computing, keeping in mind the notion that this technology can be the base for the deployment of the internet of things. Materials and methods. By the use of the full potential cloud computing has as a technology to enable internet of things, it is easier to make this integration faster for the optimal deployment of this internet of things worldwide.Results. In order to achieve this integration between cloud computing and internet of things, the IPv6, cloud security, ubiquitous computing and service quality, among other concepts, are thoroughly described. Conclusion. The key elements to be considered in order to correctly deploy these technologies are established.Item La influencia de la psicología ambiental en el contexto de la educación en Colombia: el caso del centro de Medellín(Corporación Universitaria Lasallista, 2017) Gallego Ramírez, Lina María; Gallego Quiceno, Dany Esteban; Arboleda López, Adriana Patricia; Garcés Giraldo, Luís Fernando; Sepúlveda Aguirre, Jovany ArleyIntroduction. The use and relevance of environmental psychology processes in the context of Colombian Education is assessed; basically, the possibility to articulate psychological environmental suggestions related to social-educational contexts in the city of Medellin are posed. Objective. To enquire about the use that basic, middle, and university education institutions in Medellin downtown are providing to suggestions of environmental psychology about the social-spatial relevance to develop educational process. Materials and methods. A descriptive type qualitative research was carried out by means of documental analysis processes and in situ observation processes. Results. From a documental and descriptive analysis, it is noticed that enquired Higher Education Institutions, in Medellin Comuna 10, apply basic concepts of environmental psychology that allow developing educational processes in accordance to learning-teaching processes environments. Conclusion. Dimensions analyzed in the research process allowed stablishing a clear connection between suggestions of environmental psychology and learning-teaching processes; in some cases, it is necessary the restructuration and reset out of territorial dimension, not for modifying the geographical location but the sociocultural surroundings of educational development.Item Medidas de riesgo en modelos de inventario: ¿determinismo o incertidumbre en la producción sustentable?(Corporación Universitaria Lasallista, 2017) García Arango, David Alberto; Aguirre Mesa, Elkin Darío; Gallego Quiceno, Dany EstebanInventory models have been the focus of mathematics applied to optimization; the fact of considering stock costs or penalties related to uncertainty makes it necessary to carry out studies regarding the treatment of risk. The present article aims to analyze elements related to some inventory models from their structure, purpose and decision making policy, emphasizing the treatment of non - deterministic cases where there is uncertainty in random demands with density ϕ .This is possible using a quantitative methodology and having as fundamental reference the characterization of the structure of a well-posed problem that responds to an optimal policy and to the adequacy of a coherent risk measure. The basic theoretical assumptions are presented for the understanding of the theme. Likewise, some topics related to inventory theory are identified and conceptualized, based on the theory’s objectives and inventory control structure, mentioning some inventory models. Besides, a theoretical construction is made in the treatment of inventory model optimization from uncertainty, in an analogy with deterministic models, in order to establish relationships between the decisionmaking policy for inventory models and the usual stochastic order. Finally, conclusions are established regarding the importance of the policy approach in the framework of risk measures for uncertainty scenarios by proposing a treatment for productive systems.
