Resumen
This abstract shows a brief of all the work made during 22 months, time that has passed from
the making of reference basic terms to the consolidation of the Integral Plan for the Management
of Solid Waste in 5 programs and 35 projects, meant to be implemented in the next 15
years wt the participation of the community, organizations, political leaders, academics, industrial,
services and commercial representatives, institutions, re-cycling workers, cleaning, using
and treatment companies and environmental authorities, among others.
The regional plan requires an investment of 115000 millions of Colombian Pesos, and these
resources must be managed by the design of new economic instruments complementing those
currently assigned by the authorities and municiples for such purposes.
