| dc.description.abstract | Cultural practices on any farm are very important especially in banana crop because of this depends their future production. One of the most important tasks that needs this crop is to tie up the plant, and this allows support the flowering plant to prevent it from falling by the wind or by the weight of the bunch. The crisis being experienced by the agricultural sector and especially the banana growers by the high production costs and the high raw material prices (nylon), motivated research on new techniques that could be implemented into the banana cultivation. Finca Cibeles S.A. seek to reduce production costs by adjusting the tie up system of the bunch, while raising awareness of the environmental and economic impact to the crop and for the company to implement the new way to tie. | es_ES |
| dc.description.resumen | Las labores culturales en cualquier explotación agrícola son de mucha importancia y en especial en el cultivo de banano ya que de esto depende su producción futura. Una de las labores importantes que se realiza en este cultivo es el amarre, que permite sostener la planta florecida para evitar su caída por acción del viento o por el peso del racimo. La crisis que está viviendo el sector agrícola, y en especial el gremio bananero, por los altos costos de producción y altos precios de insumos (nylon), motivó las investigaciones sobre nuevas técnicas que se podrían implementar al interior del cultivo del banano. Finca Cibeles S.A. busca reducir los costos de producción adecuando el sistema de amarre de los racimos y a la vez espera dar a conocer el impacto ambiental y económico para el cultivo y para la empresa al implementar el nuevo amarre. | |
