Abstract
Cleaner production is a preventive and integrated environmental strategy in production processes, products and services, to reduce risks to humans and the environment. An activity that requires the formulation of this type of alternative is pottery production, since its dynamics generate effects in the atmosphere. Objective: To formulate cleaner production alternatives in air quality for the pottery sector of the Pantanitos district, Sogamoso-Boyacá. Materials and Methods: Data were verified in the field to elaborate a process diagram and a structured survey was applied on legal, technical, technological, financial and environmental aspects. For the formulation of the cleaner production program, an analysis matrix was prepared with strategies to prioritize viability for the sector.
