dc.description.abstractCleaner production is a preventive and integrated environmental strategy in production processes, products and services, to reduce risks to humans and the environment. An activity that requires the formulation of this type of alternative is pottery production, since its dynamics generate effects in the atmosphere. Objective: To formulate cleaner production alternatives in air quality for the pottery sector of the Pantanitos district, Sogamoso-Boyacá. Materials and Methods: Data were verified in the field to elaborate a process diagram and a structured survey was applied on legal, technical, technological, financial and environmental aspects. For the formulation of the cleaner production program, an analysis matrix was prepared with strategies to prioritize viability for the sector. dc.description.resumenLa producción más limpia es una estrategia ambiental preventiva e integrada en procesos productivos, productos y servicios, para reducir los riesgos a los humanos y al ambiente. Una actividad que requiere la formulación de este tipo de alternativas es la producción alfarera, debido a que sus dinámicas generan efectos en la atmósfera. Objetivo: Formular alternativas de producción más limpia en calidad del aire, para el sector alfarero de la vereda Pantanitos, SogamosoBoyacá. Materiales y Métodos: Se verificaron datos en campo para elaborar diagrama de procesos y se aplicó encuesta estructurada sobre aspectos legales, técnicos, tecnológicos, financieros y ambientales. Para la formulación del programa de producción más limpia se elaboró una matriz de análisis con estrategias para priorizar viabilidad para el sector. Resultados: Se registraron 1 horno tipo colmena y 55 hornos convencionales, con características de economía familiar. Se identificaron estrategias orientadas a la gestión tecnológica, participación en programas de gobierno nacional, regional y local, consumo sostenible, autogestión ambiental, beneficios tributarios, optimización y mejoramiento de procesos empresariales, certificaciones ambientales y líneas de financiamiento como herramientas base para la formulación del programa de producción más limpia, considerando el potencial técnico, económico, financiero y ambiental. Conclusiones: La gestión tecnológica, autogestión ambiental, beneficios tributarios y líneas de financiamiento son las estrategias incluidas en el programa de producción más limpia en calidad del aire a partir de proyectos, metas y objetivos que presentan viabilidad para el sector alfarero de la vereda Pantanitos, Sogamoso-Boyacá
