Abstract
Conduct problems have a prevalence of 15, 4
% in ages between 6 and 9 years, and this rate
increases up to 29 % between 10 and 13 years
of age (Martínez-Arias & Rodríguez-Sutil, 2000).
In the kindergarten grade from Colombo Británico
school, after an observation period, some conduct
problems were identified among the children.
It was then necessary to recognize the way the
teacher-student relationship influenced them.
The analysis of these conduct alterations was
performed on a part of the population of children
from the institution (with ages between 5 and
6 years), keeping into account the fact that the
early years constitute the most important stage
for human beings (Duane et al. 2009). Objective.
To establish the existing relationship between the
type of relationship students and teachers have
and the conduct problems kindergarten of students
from Colombo Británico school, at Envigado.
Method. This research work has a quantitative
focus. The paradigm used is empirical-analytic and
the design is transversal. Conclusion. There is a
close relationship between the teacher-student
relationship and the conduct problems because,
according to the analysis of the results, children
with a conflictive relationship above the upper
limit with their teachers have those problems.
