Abstract
Social and cultural changes the contemporary
world brings, propose new challenges to education
and bring new action scenarios that demand
attention and participation in new educative
trends and policies from teachers, according to
what the system indicates. This article mainly aims
to reflect on how early childhood teachers assume
such changes, having childhood, the curricula,
the pedagogy and the formation and human
development processes as references during the
first life cycle, known, precisely, as childhood, in a
way that all of them duly face the challenge and
achieve the much desired integral education.
