This article introduces a revision of the subject that
comes from an intervention project to improve
coexistence in schools called “Let´s get along”. The
idea is to identify the current situation in Colombia
concerning violence and the way it has permeated
education scenarios. Besides, the humanist
psychology´s view demonstrates its importance
before the subject in the educative interventions,
and the fact that coexistence in the school comes
from a balance between what is individual and
collective and between desire and the law, is also
demonstrated. The results are presented within
the framework of the degree thesis for getting a
degree on psychology.
