Abstract

The Department of Public Relations and Events plays a fundamental part of the institution as it is responsible for supporting the different agencies that are part of the University. The objective of this research is to show the importance of management indicators within the Department of Communication, especially in the area of public relations and events EAFIT University, for this you need to understand why? And why? You should use this tool within the organization and how they play an important time to verify the procedures and paper as these at the same time help save time, money, not only have a more organized work, but also how they can help prevention of future crises and achieve the objectives. By using good indicators make the Department and in this case the Department of Public Relations achieve a better positioning and recognition by the other units of the University, since they have the strategic support and support the achievement of the goals not only but also the area of internal public involved and constant relationship with external.
