Item A holistic methodology supported in the construction of teaching material for the interaction with EFL in the student’s real context(Unilasallista, 2021) Estrada Montoya, Carolina; Villamizar Reatiga, Emilly; Guerra Sánchez, Juan CarlosThis research study has a qualitative approach, with an action research method, inscribed in a descriptive scope, where it seeks to promote a holistic methodology supported by the construction of didactic material for interaction with the foreign language in the real context of the students. The project was developed in two public schools in Valle de Aburrá during two academic semesters, where the population was second and third grade, in addition to the cooperating teachers. In the first part, an observation process was carried out where the teaching methodology and the implemented materials were identified, then the planning of thematic units and the creation of materials for the participation of the researcher in the classroom were carried out, and finally the process of evaluation where the study was validated through two formats of assessment and production. The results showed that this methodology helped the participants in their teaching and learning process, demonstrating the different means, resources, strategies and activities that can be used in the classroom to interact with the language in a meaningful way.Item La gamificación en la enseñanza del inglés como lengua extranjera.(Unilasallista, 2023) Restrepo Rúa, María Fernanda; Guerra Sánchez, Juan CarlosEl presente informe final escrito del trabajo de grado tiene como objetivo principal: identificar la contribución de la gamificación en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la lengua extranjera en estudiantes de 1ro de la Institución Educativa Yermo y Parres. En los cuales, el termino gamificación como categoría principal será trabajada desde el autor Daniel Parente, la siguiente categoría: procesos lúdicos será trabajada desde Patricia Sarle, la categoría procesos comunicativos será trabajada desde Kenneth Goodman, la categoría procesos emocionales será trabajada desde Stephen Krashen, y, por último, la categoría de lengua extranjera será trabajada desde la visión de Carmen Muñoz. El acto investigativo, se lleva a cabo mediante el enfoque cualitativo, usando como método, la investigación acción y la aplicación de técnicas de recolección de información como observación, diarios de campo y portafolio.Item Strategies Mediated by Art and Play for the Development of the Communicative Domain in English of the Preschool Children in El Colegio Londres(Unilasallista, 2021) Arango Bermúdez, Daniela; Guerra Sánchez, Juan CarlosThis research study seeks finding a better understanding of the foreign language teaching process with the youngest students focusing on the acquisition of English as a foreign language in Colombia. The objectives try to determine the contribution that the strategies mediated by art and play have in the promotion of the communicative domain in the preschool children of El Colegio Londres, and are explored through various strategies and tools to help the teacher build up a repertoire of activities that support all the decisions made in the classroom. A qualitative methodology was used where particular and diverse results are appreciated as a sample of human uniqueness, and the results found are linked to the importance of making the acquisition of a foreign language a meaningful tool of communication, even for the youngest, finding everyday a new way of teaching
