This text approaches a central point in the
problem proposed by Michel Foucault in his lecture
“¿What is an author?” The problem is touched
by the ethical principle of contemporary writing:
“¿Does it matter who speaks?” Before assuming
this ethical principle, it is necessary to keep in
mind that the problem has a perspective marked
by the historical analysis of speeches. Otherwise,
what Foucault tries to say in his lecture can be
misunderstood.
