Item Atención y música: Diferencias en el desempeño de los procesos de atención en niños/as que están vinculados a clases de música y de otro grupo que no está vinculado al aprendizaje musical en la casa de la cultura del municipio de Caldas.(Corporación Universitaria Lasallista, 2017) González Usma, Leidy Daniela; Valencia Bautista, María Camila; Agudelo Soto, DanielaMusical practice is an activity that involves different cognitive processes, which effectively stimulate different brain areas, developing them progressively and to a large extent. Different studies throughout history have shown that musical learning has a high incidence in the brain at a neurological, structural and psychological level, generating new neuronal connections mainly at early ages. Based on the above, this work aims to analyze the differences in the performance of cognitive processes of sustained and selective attention of children between 9 and 17 years old that are linked to music classes and another group of children and girls who are not in musical learning in the House of Culture of the municipality of Caldas. Neuropsychological attention tests (TMT and d2) were applied to each one of the participants in which their performance was analyzed descriptively. From this we identified a slight difference in the performance of the participants with musical learning in relation to those who are not. However, although the results suggest that the children with music training has better attention performance, it is essential to take into account other variables that could also influence these results.Item La procrastinación académica según algunas características sociodemográficas en estudiantes que inician su vida universitaria en la Corporación Universitaria Lasallista en el periodo 01 2017.(Corporación Universitaria Lasallista, 2017) Jaramillo Agudelo, Sara Luz; Vélez Sánchez, Geidy Dahiana; Zapata Mesa, David Alejandro; Londoño Ardila, Luis FelipeThis work was carried out in order to analyze the academic procrastination according to some sociodemographic characteristics in students who started their university life in the Lasallista University Corporation in the period 01 2017.
