Item Análisis de algunos manuales escolares lasallistas(Corporación Universitaria Lasallista, 2018) Zapata Muriel, Fernando AntonioSummary: The education imparted by the Lasallians in Colombia was aimed at forming men enlightened with a religious moral, responsible and civic conscience. Therefore, catechism, urbanity, courtesy, family unity and self-control are favored through Lasallian manuals produced in Colombia between 1943 and 1988 in pedagogy. Introduction: School textbooks are a written work intended for teaching-learning. In Contemporaneity, they are cardinal elements of school culture. The research deals with a series of manuals of pedagogy, history and catechisms, studied from a pedagogical approach. Objectives: To reveal the type of subject and the project of society to be favored through the Lasallian manuals produced in Colombia between 1943 and 1988 in pedagogy. Materials and methods: This is an investigation with a qualitative approach of documentary type. It was carried out by following the criteria of the hermeneutical method. The triangulation data (methods and theories) was used. Materials used: worksheets. Results: The Lasallian pedagogy applied in Colombia since 1905 forges honest men with a conservative Catholic moral and a solid moral tradition, but it suffers from a critical, liberating spirit advocating for social justice, necessary in times of great social inequalities. Conclusion. The contribution of Lasallian pedagogy is important for the Colombian people, but its link with the conservative government system that prevented the formation of critical subjects, freethinkers and forgers of true autonomy is questionable.Item Caracterización de la espiritualidad del estudiante de la Corporación Universitaria Lasallista 2017-2018(Corporación Universitaria Lasallista, Editorial Lasallista, 2019) Zapata Muriel, Fernando Antonio; Calero Campo, Juan Camilo; Trujillo Acevedo, Juan CamiloThis article is the result of a research project based on the description of the characteristics of the spirituality of young people of the Lasallian University Corporation. Objective: Interpret the characteristics that form the spirituality of young people in the Lasallian University Corporation. Materials and methods: The work was carried out based on a qualitative approach. The main method applied was hermeneutics and data collection techniques such as the survey were applied to 346 young people of the Lasallian University Corporation, through a mail questionnaire made up of open-ended questions where participants described their spirituality. In addition, there were five focus groups with a group of students and teachers. The triangulation technique was used to analyze the data. Results: Among the most relevant results of the study, it is concluded that young people relate spirituality to beliefs in a divine force to which the majority grant a transcendent meaning that gives meaning to their existence. As for the way young people express and live spirituality, it is found that it revolves around plural bets. Conclusions: It is evident that there is no presence of a type of spirituality, but that each young person has a different way of confirming their search for the sacred in life and feeds it from beliefs and similarity to the meaning of life.Item Caracterización de la espiritualidad del estudiante de la Corporación Universitaria Lasallista 2017-2018(Corporación Universitaria Lasallista, Editorial Lasallista, 2019) Zapata Muriel, Fernando Antonio; Calero Campo, Juan Camilo; Trujillo Acevedo, Juan CamiloThis article is the result of a research project based on the description of the characteristics of the spirituality of young people of the Lasallian University Corporation. The aim was to describe the main socio-economic, psychological, academic and institutional characteristics of students, and analyze them as potential risk factors associated with dropout rates in the Corporación Universitaria Lasallista (CUL). Everything is connected. Cosmos and human beings are all hollistic realities that must be studied as an inter-connected and inter- depending systems´ network, in order to take care of the common oikia, the nature that has been given to mankind as care takers, cultivators and transformers.Conclusions. To keep the environment –the Creation- Pope Francis proposes some initiatives, among which we remark that every ecological endeavor must be addressed to an integral ecology (ecotheology?) that includes culture, spirituality, axiology, charity and justice as cardinal values.
